I bought these new and kept good care of them. Unfortunately, I discovered there are dust specs in the pictures but it's just too much work to retake them. So, don't be put off. It's just dust that it seems only the camera sees. There are more pictures available (eBay stops you at 24 tops) in case you need them. But, if you look the pictures over carefully, except for a tiny casualty here and there and a bit of rash on one of the toms they are in great condition. As one of the drum shop experts once said to me, "Nobody does cherry like Yamaha", and over the years, I've gotten lots of complements on the look and sound of these drums. This has been my go-to kit for playing out and they can fill a room no problem. Huge resonance! You'll be heard! (Notice the RIMS mounts. Don't let anyone tell you they don't work.) I just don't seem to be playing out much anymore and space here is limited. So, here we are. The floor tom is outfitted with spurs which can be used two ways: If you have a kick drum available, you can leave them in the down position, hang the drum from a stand and put the tom legs (supplied) down to brace them. (I don't know about you, but I don't love hanging a 16" tom with no bracing.) OR, you can put the spurs in them and use it as a jazz or club kick. I did both depending upon the situation.
