Description: This is an extremely fine pair of World War II U.S. Marine Corps Field Glasses in their leather case that is in excellent condition. The optics are clear as a bell and not damaged in any way. Both barrels have 100% of the black pebbled leather covering intact. Both focusing eyepieces are undamaged and revolve freely. Marked to the right of the right eyepiece is, ‘UNIVERSAL CAMERA CORP. – NEW YORK, U.S.A.’. Marked to the left of the left eyepiece is, ‘U.S.M.C – 6x30 – Serial No. 26107’. The glasses are complete with leather neck strap. The leather case is constructed of brown leather and retains excellent shape. The tab with the locking snap is strong, solid and with functional, ‘Lift the Dot’ snap. It is complete with the adjustable shoulder strap. This is a fine Marine Corps used ensample that is in excellent and undamaged field used condition.8069
