Description: You are bidding on a WWII ARMY OCCUPATION SERVICE MEDAL RIBBON BAR WITH BERLIN AIRLIFT DEVICE, in new, unissued condition. Airplane device included but not mounted. Single and multiple ribbon mounts available in my store--be sure to purchase a ribbon mount if you need one; you cannot wear this ribbon without one. Note: the angle at which the device is mounted is determined by the angle at which the wires are attached in manufacturing, so device may not have the orientation shown. The Berlin Airlift Device is awarded for service of 92 consecutive days with a unit credited with participation in the Berlin airlift, or by competent field authority on an individual basis within the period June 26, 1948 to September 30, 1949 inclusive. The device is a gold colored metal miniature of a Douglas C-54 cargo airplane. It is worn centered on the suspension and service ribbon of the Army or Navy Occupation Service Medal. I can assemble an entire ribbon rack or get virtually any currently issued US military insignia or award and many historical items, but space is limited in my store. Please feel free to contact me with your needs. Will gladly combine shipping for multiple lots if you put items in your cart and request total. Thanks a million for looking and check out my other items!
