Description: This lovely 22" character child is the elusive Kammer & Reinhardt 117N look-a-like made by Cuno and Otto Dressel. Her bisque is lovely and has the high color normally found on these dolls. She has an open mouth, brown human hair wig, huge blue sleep eyes with original eye wax, lightly painted lashes and feathered brows. Her bisque is perfect. There are no hairlines, cracks, chips, eye flakes, repairs or restoration. She's a terrific doll.[circa 1909] If you would like to see additional pictures, please e-mail me. This rare doll was created by Cuno & Otto Dressel. I think the head was molded at the Simon Halbig factory similar to a 117n doll. There are no cracks or chips on the head. The body is in good condition and the elastic bands are well stretched. The doll is dressed in vintage clothes and shoes. Linen underwear, stockings, a pink cotton dress embellished with lace and a pink apron. The doll's hat and her human hair wig are antique. The doll also has a beautiful fan.Sleeping brown eyes with beautiful eyelashes. The doll is sold without a stand. She is very beautiful and incredibly to Simon & Halbig/ Kammer & Reinhard bisdque head doll mold 117n!I received such a letter from an expert on antique dolls:Your doll is lovely. Simon & Halbig made this head for COD. Just as on the COD heads made by S&H for the 1469 dolls, the S&H mark was not used. That's why you don't see the S&H mark here. But she isn't a "look-alike." She is a Simon & Halbig 117N.
