Description: This is a very good copy from a 1980 reissue on the MCA label of the Who's classic 1969 rock opera Tommy. This LP was the first full realization of Pete Townshend's ambition to produce an extended work whose songs were linked both musically and thematically, an ambition first aired in the 1966 suite "A Quick One." It also made the Who international stars. The gatefold jacket has ring wear, and light to moderate wear around the edges -- lower end VG+. The discs are clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and they play with some light surface noise (EX-). The record comes with a two-sided lyric insert (EX: light creasing/rippling, a little light staining). I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them. If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
