The wire strippers are ergonomically shaped and have an automatic scanner system to determine the cable diameter. This prevents damage to the inner conductor.The WEICON Wire Stripper No. 7-F has a precise adjustment (5-fold) and an optical length scale of 8 - 24 mm (5/16 - 1 inch). This allows flexible round cables of 0.5 - 16.0 mm² (24 - 10 AWG) and solid round cables of 0.5 to 10 mm² (18 - 15 AWG) to be stripped. From 10 mm², cables must be stripped in two stages. The Wire Stripper No. 7-F is particularly well-suited to two- or three-core, PVC-insulated flat cables of 0.75 - 4.0 mm². An easy-to-access side cutter is integrated into the tool and can be used up to a cable diameter of 3 mm. It also has replaceable blades.
