See photos of card fronts and backs. There are 3 cards in this lot. Payton, nicknamed "Sweetness", is one of the NFL's All-Time Greats, playing for the Chicago Bears from 1975-1987. In addition, he holds most of the Chicago Bears offensive records. He led the Bears to a win in Super Bowl XX and was the 1987 NFL Most Valuable Player. Payton was a 9-Time All-Pro, 5-Time First Team All-Pro, finished with 16,726 Rushing Yards, 110 Rushing Touchdowns and 15 Receiving Touchdowns, 4,538 Receiving Yards and averaged 4.4 Yards per carry. He was named to NFL's All-Time Team and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. He played his college ball at Jackson State University, where he was an All-American twice, drafted in 1975 in the First Round, Pick 4. He was added to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996.
