Description: Up for sale is an old Federal Type 10 Siren. This siren will need new wires due to the insulation has come off and they are grounding on the cover. I removed the cover and tested this siren on 6 volts and does work. It seemed to spin up a tad slow to me but maybe it is designed to work that way, I am not sure but it does spin up nice and loud. Probably would not hurt to lube the motor bearings and maybe do some cleaning in the motor. It is being offered as found and pictured uncleaned with dents and 2 missing screws, one on the brass tag and one on the bell.
