Description: This is a Midcentury Vintage Wall Plaque of Aesculapius: God Of Health that was made in Greece. I believe it is made of clay or some other ceramic material. It measures approx. 9 3/4” tall x 6” wide x 1/2” thick at its thickest, and features a lovely, aged patina. There is a “legend” glued to the back that begins with “No. 65”. There are two holes to facilitate hanging present. It says “Made In Greece” on the back, and there is a “Z” signature on the lower front right. This plaque came back from a Grecian vacation in the 1950s. This vintage plaque would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or collection, and would make a great gift, too! It would also make an interesting & decorative conversation piece. The pictures above show the condition of the actual item you will receive, as I don't use stock photography. This vintage plaque is in very good condition, but to does show minor expected wear consistent with age. There are some small brown marks on the front that I have made no effort to clean.
