Description: Up for purchase is an Antique Jewelry/Cigarette Music box w/bakelite lid. Excellent collector' piece for the dresser, vanity, or bar conversation piece if used for a cigarette box. The music box winds up, but when opening the lid...it will not play(please read condition description for the full details). I think this will be and easy fix in the right hands as the piece that touches the lid and moves when the lid is opened may need adjustment and the rest of the pieces will move like they should?? I do not want to attempt to fix this as I don't know enough about it to try to fix it myself. Too nice of a piece to ruin it because I don't know what I am doing. This minor flaw(there are those out there that don't really want the music anyway, so these factors are why my asking price is what it is as these are pretty pricy as they are great antiques!!!
