Description: Vintage Hand Made Steel Roman Gladius Gladiators Dagger Knife With Thick Leather Handle. This is very unusual. Blade is Carbon steel , but has never had an edge put on it. Blade is tapered to an edge , but was never sharpened to a cutting edge. Handles on each side are made of one piece of very thick leather. Handle bolts are brass. This weighs almost a pound. So not a toy. Maybe a movie or theater prop? Highly unusual find. I have had this for around 10 years and have never seen another like it.
