The outer binder is a soft faux leather with Sanofi Aventis’ logo & slogan – Because Health Matters. It has a zip wrap around closure. On the inside it has pockets for the medical treatment planner and a holder for a pen. I’m sure it came with a pen but I don’t know where it is. The planner is blank and can be removed if you do not need. There are several sections. The first is contacts with a place for one’s personal information, care team contacts, insurance information, a plastic holder for business cards. The next is a calendar for 2009. It also had 2008 but I had made personal notes on it so I removed those pages. The next section is for medication where you can make notes on what medicine to take and the instructions for it. There is a symptom diary and finally a section for your notes. Also in the back a 6 pages with pockets for your handouts, receipts, appointment notes, etc. This is a comprehensive notebook to help your journey through treatment. There are some wear places on the side of the pocketed pages but otherwise the planner is in good condition. See pics. I received this while I was undergoing chemotherapy in 2008. If you happen to be undergoing long term treatment and/or recovery, the planner would be really useful. It doesn’t even need to be for cancer, it be for any ailment whether it is for injury recovery or to help keep track of symptoms if you have long haul COVID. The outer case is very versatile and can be used to hold many things. It measures approx. 7 ½” x 12” and the zipper works fine. Comes from smoke-free home.
