Description: A vintage Russian USSR Hand Painted Wooden MATRYOSHKA BABUSHKA Doll Chess Figure Set with original box. This is a complete 32 piece set, all in excellent condition. Very few, very minor surface marks on a few. All clean with great shine and color. Felt on bottom is good. King stands about 4 1/8" and Pawn is about 2 3/8". Great looking set. No board included. Box has normal age and use wear as shown. Has some writing and scribbles on the lid (oddly I've seen same writing on another set lid so maybe an original printing error?). Displays great.
