Description: Vintage Riihimaen Lasi Oy (Riihimaen Glass Ltd of Finland) vaseline (uranium) glass bottle/vase in the famous Grapponia pattern (#1724) designed by Nanny Still in 1968 and produced into the early 1970s. A lovely piece of Scandinavian glass with an iconic MCM design. About 7.5" high, 5.5" wide, 1.75" thick, & weighs 1 lb 12 oz. Has a large crack resembling a lightning bolt that makes its way down from the neck to the base on one side. When the opposite side is displayed, the crack can only really be seen if you know what you're looking for, and the piece actually displays beautifully. Please note that the crack can barely be felt with your fingernail and is more like an inclusion in the glass. Beyond that it just has typical minor signs of wear for pieces of this age and type.
