Description: Surgical Anatomy, C. Latimer Callander, A.B., M.D., F.A.C.S., 2nd Edition, Copyright 1939, Reprinted 1945 with 819 illustrations, 858 pages. In the Foreword by Dean Lewis, M.D., Sc.D., LL.D., F.A.C.S., he notes, "We have long been in need of a book in which anatomy and its surgical application are considered together or in close sequence. In this book systems and organs are studied in relation to each other, and knowledge which can be used in the ward and operating room is imparted." In the Preface by C. Latimer Callander, A.B., M.D., F.A.C.S., he notes, " in this the first revision of our textbook on Surgical Anatomy, I have rearranged, and in many instances rewritten, much of the text. Condition: Good to Very Good. While the cover has a few, very minor scuffs and scratches and the spine has some wear at the top and bottom with a few loose threads, the binding is very strong with no damage and the pages are well bound. The only mark on the pages is a blacked-out name of a previous owner on the title page. The pages immediately after and before the front and back cover are slightly tanned. Otherwise, this textbook is in very good condition.
