Description: VINTAGE KOREAN CELADON GLAZED PORCELAIN KONDIKA (RITUAL EWER) You are being offered a Vintage Korean Porcelain Kondika or Ritual Ewer decorated with Inlaid White Slip in the form of Flying Cranes with Black Painted Tail Feathers under a Transparent Celadon Glaze. The Kondika, which was carried by Buddhist Monks and used for Sprinkling Water during Buddhist Rituals, doesn’t have an identifying origin or maker’s mark; but we believe it was made during the 20th Century, most likely in South Korea after 1960. The Kondika stands 5 inches high and it measures 2¾ inches in diameter at its widest point. The Kondika is also in very Good to Excellent Condition for its age, without any chips, cracks, scratches or losses. Please refer to the photographs on the left for further details.
