Description: A vintage Japanese Satsuma pottery vase featuring a multicolor peony shrub in bloom with beautiful flowers, branches and birds. Hand painted enamels with gilding and signed by the artist on base. c. Mid-20th century, 1930-1950s. In good condition with no chips or cracks but showing some wear and loss on the gilding. Overall fine crazing per normal for Satsuma but no hairlines, lifting or stains.
