Description: Up for sale is a nice example of vintage hand blown West Virginia Art glass / crackle glass fish possibly from Blenko. I think this piece is at least 40 ~ 50 years old, and it’s been in my possession for 25+ years. As seen in the pictures it is a blue and clear crackle glass fish with no significant flaws or damage that I can see. There appears to be the remains of red paint on the eyes that was there when I obtained this piece, but I’m not sure if it’s original. It is truly a one of a kind piece of crackle glass and I haven’t been able to find a comp in my research. Thanks for looking and good luck. To clarify I’ve not been able to positively identify this piece, it may be any of the WV art glass manufacturers, and if anyone is able to positively identify it I would greatly appreciate it, otherwise I really don’t need another generic “I don’t think that’s Blenko” message. I have a few pieces of WV art glass that we obtained from Blenko employees that do not appear in any catalogs, this is not one of them, but it may be of a similar nature, or it may just be one of the many other WV glass manufacturers and I haven’t been able to identify it… anyway thanks and have a good day.
