Description: Hello. I am offering an outstanding vintage Roseville Pottery tan Wincraft panther vase (290-11") from my own personal collection. The pattern was produced circa 1948. This vase is notably popular. It is highly sought after by and coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike. It is extremely hard to find, especially in such great condition. The mold is crisp and the colors are bold. It is nicely textured and is finished with a glossy glaze. It is a heavy piece. The Wincraft panther vase has no chips, cracks, or scratches. It is immaculate on the outside except for some surface dirt on the base ring; it is dusty on the inside and shows a bit of residue there from having been used as a planter. In about the "5 o'clock" position, there is a minute paint fleck near the top edge. In the "7 o'clock" position, there is a thin horizontal paint skip next to a tiny clay pimple on the top edge. Just to side of the panther are two pinhead-sized paint skips. In about the "11 o'clock" position, there is a professional restoration to a small base edge chip. The job was done so well that the auction house I purchased it from marked the area next to it with a thin horizontal white label on the base. The vase is in near mint condition. For the sake of accuracy, there is clear crazing throughout; it in no way detracts from the piece's attractiveness. The vase's bottom is marked in relief Roseville U.S.A. 290-11". Its dimensions are 10-1/2" h x 6-1/4" w x 5" d. It displays beautifully and is a superb example of its kind.
