Description: Just out of a local smoke free house is this original vintage Donald Roy Purdy, 1924-2016, portrait of a lady oil painting. The painting depicts a lady in the modernist style in great colors. The painting on Masonite is signed in the lower left and is dated 50 in the lower right. With the frame it measures about 28 1/4 inches high and about 24 1/4 inches wide. The painting alone measures about 18 inches high and about 14 inches wide. The painting is in excellent condition. The frame has had some losses and shows signs of some earlier touchups See photos as they are part of the description. Bio, Donald Roy Purdy is a well listed Connecticut artist born in Norwalk in 1924. He exhibited widely and his works were well represented in several Madison avenue New York galleries and other high end retailers.
