Description: This is a Collins Model 2 20V AM broadcast transmitter. Serial number is 400. Frequency is 550/1600 KC, antennae is 50/70. The original test tag on it says November 18, 1958. Call letters for last known station are KFHA, from the tag, which appears to be a station that was launched in the Tacoma / Lakewood area of Washington State. It is missing transmitter tubes and several others (please refer to pictures). No transformers! They have been removed. It seems all parts in the lower half of the unit were removed. Cabinet is intact, in decent condition, but unit is sold AS-IS. Arrangements can be made for inspection prior to sale. Own a piece of AM radio history!
