Description: This is a vintage Case 6233 “Premium Penknife” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 1965-1969.The knife is 2-5/8” closed with nickel silver liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap.Both blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble.Nice chestnut bovine bone handles have great color, no cracks or damage.Used, carried, and lightly sharpened. Both blades are full with light scratches, patina, and staining as the photos show. The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
