Description: This vintage biscuit tin is from Murray-Allen Regal Crown in New York and Los Angeles. Imported confections from England. The painted pictures depict a young gentlemen dressed in 19th century European outfits, bearing gifts of apples and flowers to the two young maidens. The top has a picture of cupid under the handle. The metal box indicates it was Made in England on the bottom and Made in Great Britain on the side. This box is faded from wear. This box measures approx. 6-1/4" wide and 3-5/8" deep. It sits 6-1/2 " tall with the handle on the lid. Though it no longer contains the sweets it once did, this tin can be used to store candy, cookies (biscuits), trinkets or sit on a shelf and look lovely.
