Description: I'm not sure what this does, so I don't know much about it or what it's used for, but it's Huge! It is similar to other "Anamorphic" lenses I've had---- where it distorts the image of what it sees into a rather warped view--- like when I look through it--- it reminds me of the Hitchcock film--- "Vertigo." It has some curved lens elements inside so when I rotate it with my wrist, the scene goes wacky like a Fun-House mirror--- or like I had two too many Vodka Gimlets. I don't know if that's what it's supposed to do, or what kind of camera it can mount to, but that's what I see. BUT this one is marked Cinemascope Projection Attachment---- so maybe it's for a Movie Theatre Projector for Uber-wide Cinemascope Motion Picture film projection? Again---- I don't really know so I'll expect you to know what your buying. Anyway.... it's in used Condition--- the Exterior has nicks and scuffs and paint wear, but no dings or dents. The Glass is fairly nice--- the front and back elements are clean, but there is some dust and other particles inside, and a little glue seperation "rainbowing" on a outer portion of one group---- but not too bad--- still looks very clear. (The lines you see in one of the photos is a reflection of the room lamp.) It's Not Mint, so don't expect it to be, but it's very nice. It has a rear section that threads on--- inscribed Kollmorgen Snaplite Attachment of Brooklyn, NY--- 5.5 inch. I don't know how well it works because I don't have a camera or projector to mount it to---- never had one before so I don't know what to expect. Comes with a nice big push-on lens cap. So that's it---- ask questions if you have any. What you see is what you'll get--- the actual item for sale is pictured.... Not stock photos---- PLEASE scrutinize them. Continental US Shipping will be $14.50. It will be packed well and safe. International Shipping via the ebay program. PLEASE READ THIS--- By Bidding you Agree that: I am not Amazon or a professional Camera Store seller--- just a pragmatic collector/shooter selling some USED items. I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you. But that said... I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping." So I'm sorry, I can't sell this item on Approval, it's being sold As Is, No Warranty, No Try-Outs, No Returns. I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for. But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially in a 60+ year old item--- being sold as a Collectible novelty item. THIS is a an OLD Lens, very much Used so it has imperfections. Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge. I try to be detailed and truthful but I can't describe every millimeter of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention... but they would hardly diminish it... unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect. What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown. SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE Interesting Items---- I'll be selling a large portion of my camera collection over the next few months, so check back and/or tell me what you're looking for. If you have questions about this or other items or combined shipping or other discounts---- please ask... Let's make a deal. Thanks
