Description: Up for sale is a nice vintage example of Asahi's classic screw-mount era mid-length prime, the Super-Takumar 200mm f/4.An ideal mid-length telephoto on full format 35mm/digital, this lens produces beautiful images with the lovely rendering and sharpness and rendering characteristic of the Takumar series, as well as sharing their fabulous build-quality and smooth operation. Item is in vintage condition with moderate handling wear, ID# engraved into barrel. Mechanics in excellent working order. Minor cleaning marks in front and rear coatings. Glass otherwise free of scratches/haze/fungus. Includes original leatherette case, hood, and slide-on metal front cap. This lens features the very versatile m42 screw mount, which can be used natively on older screw mount-SLR cameras by Pentax, Praktica, etc. and can be adapted for use on most popular Film SLR, DSLR, and mirrorless formats with a glassless adapter (see chart below for digital compatibility).
