Description: VINTAGE 1960s ERA, ARTCARVED BY J.R. WOOD & SONS, NEW YORK USA, 14K YELLOW GOLD, RIBBED / SCALLOPED / GEOMETRIC PATTERN MOTIF, THIN CIGAR / WEDDING / ETERNITY BAND RING NO PERSONAL MONOGRAMS OR ENGRAVINGS, IN A US SIZE 10.25 or 10-1/4, MEASURES 3.5mm or 5/32" WIDE, TOTAL WEIGHT OF 3.2 GRAMS Shows light wear from use and handling, including minor surface marks and scratches. It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine and is very clean. It is straight and round, not bent, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all. It is hallmarked on the inside 14K (sideways letter W) ARTCARVED, mark for a line of rings made by historic and listed USA fine jewelry maker J.R. Wood & Sons of New York. This line was so popular, the company eventually became known as Artcarved, Inc. We did perform a stone and acid test and it confirms 14K and was measured with a professional ring mandrel at a US Size 10.25 or 10-1/4. HISTORICAL FOOTNOTE: The last photo shown was taken from the US Patent and Trademark Office and completely documents this mark and maker.
