Just as a full disclosure, I can't be entirely sure that this container is made of tin or some other metal. Condition: This large tin is remarkable for its condition. There are no rust-through areas, and the entire container and the lid are integral. It has an 'A' initial scratched onto the lid as shown. Also a couple areas at bottom rim with slight indentation. But over-all in very nice condition.It may need some cleaning up on the internal side, but I don't advise it , except to professionally remove some very superficial rust or patina'd areas. However it should be done with care as you would want to maintain the original gloss or patina on the inside so as to maintain it's extremely collectible condition and state of preservation. Do not clean outside surface at all, as that will remove the paint.
