Description: Up for sale is this nice American Fork & Hoe Casting Rod. The rod has been cleaned and a coating of Fluid Film has been applied to the blank and guides. Fluid Film is a lanolin-based, non-toxic rust preventative. I also applied U-40 Cork Seal to the handle. There is very little rust anywhere. I looks like, at some point the lower part of the cork handle has been replaced. There are 3 guides (including the tip). The guides are a little bent up but still functional. The windings are still nice and tight. The rod weighs 9 oz.
