Description: Vintage 1970’s Sasha Girl Doll Long Blonde Hair Original Dress and Shoes 16" tall, Top and undies are original (Sorry I did not wash the undies) It appears that her strings are metal. Please see Sasha Dolls, The History Anne Votaw with Ann Louise Chandler and Susanna E. Lewis BookPg. 72 and again on pg. 73 It shows the Sasha Blonde Long Dress appeared in 1975, her outfit was the second to benefit from the silk screening method. Sara Dogart designed the Floral print after a doodle she had absent mindedly scribbled on a notepad.The earliest prototype had an attached ruffle at the hem which this one doesn't. She has the earlier painted lashes according to the Sasha Dolls (History) on pg. 37 I thought her hair may be cut on top, I added a conditioner to her hair.
