Description: This auction is for a vintage 1956 ALA Aid Association for Lutherans celluloid sewing tape measure. It was made by the J.B.Carroll Co. of Chicago. This old tape measure is in very good condition but the tape retraction mechanism does not work very well. Needs to be tapped and shaken to retract while pushing the button. It measures a little under 1 3/8” across. Guaranteed old and original.
