Description: Set appears to be in nice solid vintage shape. It shows normal wear from play and age. I see one plane with a crack in it. Others have some light scuffing. Plastic box lid has a piece broken off, and paper liner has some rips that have been repaired with tape. This set seems to be extremely hard to find, and it displays very well. Contrary to what the company claimed; these early plastic toys were far from indestructible, and very few make it this far down the line. The fact it appears complete, and largely undamaged is extremely impressive to me. The case just adds to my amazement. A couple of the hets have come loose, and will need reattached to the backing.
