The opal has nice fire, and the diamonds add just enough extra sparkle! Opal is October's birthstone. The opal is nicer in person than the photos depict, taken on this cloudy day. It has a lot of green flashes of color, with some orange. It's approximately .75 ct and is bordered by 12 full cut genuine diamonds, which bring the total carat weight to about 1.00 ct. There is no damage to the ring. The face measures about 1/2" north to south. The ring is stamped 14k with maker's mark PC. It weighs 3.8 grams and is a size 8.25.
