Description: Pictured here is a small handmade Victorian antique hinged document box or chest made of inlaid mixed woods. It has rabbeted corners for good sturdiness and very handsome trim work. The lid is attached with a piano type hinge which also prevents any problems with hinges coming loose. There is a chip on the top front corner and a small nick on the bottom front corner. This is a lovely little box that will display well. Measurements are 10” side to side x 5 ¼” tall x 6 ½” front to back. Be sure to view all the photos.
