Description: Here is a fascinating and beautifully crafted piece from the Netherlands, a flower blossom with leaves and stem, made of solid silver of at least .835 fineness, sometime between the years of 1814 and 1906 (as marked with a particular sword stamp). The design is very intricate and resembles Van Kempen silver work in the middle 19th century. Also of note is the unusual hardware, a threaded bolt rather than a pin, to be worn on a sturdy garment like a jacket or maybe a hat, with a pre-made hole such as a button hole. The piece is secured in place with a washer made of shell or bone and tightened with a wing-nut, also silver with the same sword mark as the main piece. On one leaf there is also a maker's mark, 4 letters and symbols inside an oblong hexagon cartouche. I looked everywhere I could find Dutch marks but could not find this particular maker, so better luck to you! Please look at all closeups and details, and if you have any questions please write and I'll try to help! Will pack with TLC, ship in 1 day only and provide tracking.
