Description: Vegetable Bowl Covered 2 Handles 11 1/2" x 7 3/4" Crazing Unmarked White Gold A beautiful OVAL Shaped 11 1/2" x 7 3/4" Covered Vegetable BOWL, Gold on White, made in USA Circa 1930's Description: This formal pattern is White with gold trim on the smooth rims of both the top and the bowl. The two handles are also highlighted with gold as is the handle on the top. The foot of the bowl is also trimmed in gold. Condition: While this covered vegetable bowl is classified as used, the condition is excellent. See the photos to judge the condition for yourself. There are no rubbings, chips, nicks, hairlines, or repairs. There is no gold wear. There is fine crazing under the clear glaze as is common of pottery of the era.Dimensions: The oval bowl is 10" by 7 3/4" while the measurement handle to handle is 11 1/2" with the bowl's height of 2 1/2". The height to the top of the lid is 4 1/8". History/Marks: The bottom of this casserole is unmarked. It is of the style and shape of the casseroles produced by Clinchfield or Homer Laughlin in the 1930's and has the extensive fine crazing under the clear glaze that is so common on pottery of that era.
