First versions were widely available to U.S. troops sent to Vietnam. But over time the design was endlessly tested, revised, and reproduced among many military branches around the globe. Shell is designed for wear as an outer layer in cold-wet climates, or as an intermediate layer in cold-dry climates. Button-in quilted liner jacket adds warmth when needed. Liner can be worn alone for quick trips outside (like smoke breaks, taking out the trash, or grabbing the mail) and has its own full button-up front.This M-65 Cold Weather Coat was manufactured by Brooklyn Armed Forces to U.S. military specs. It includes the matching button-in liner. And it arrives to your door pristine, in the same condition as the original M-65 designs rolled off the factory floor in the 60's.
