Description: This is a cosmetically excellent though optically rough around the edges Canon 50mm f1.5. The aperture and focus rings work flawlessly. There is some oil on the aperture blades and mild dust inclusion. The biggest concern is some irregular non-fungal haze on the rear element. This only noticeably softens images and reduces contrast at wide open. Included is a recent image captured with this lens. This particular model is SN #21385, which indicates manufacturing sometime in 1955/1956. This is quite an uncommon lens that has the excellent and highly desirable optical characteristics of the Sonnar it's derived from. This lens comes with lens caps.
