They should simmer covered for at least 20 minutes. The longer it steeps, the more intense the infusion becomes. Mormon tea does not contain caffeine..In each bag you will find the green photosynthetic stems and possible blooms and seeds I harvested from the shrubs. They are uncut. You may break them before adding to pot or leave whole. Only a portion of each plant is harvested and the trimmings are rinsed well before air drying.
