Description: This is a nice bronze half centavos from 1904, minted at the Philadelphia mint, for the Philippines. The Philippines was under United States Administration at this time. Obverse has the familiar man seated beside hammer and anvil, reverse has eagle with wings open above shield. Edge is smooth. This is the second and final year of issue for general circulation. Subsequent years, from 1905-1908, were proof only issues. I would grade this uncirculated, with no signs of wear or circulation. It still retains some red luster and is starting to tone brown. Please view the photos to see for yourself. I have provided 2 sets of photos for this same coin. I have listed other coins from the Philippines.
