Description: You are bidding on this unique old bell.It looks to be made of brass or bronze, with a wood and bone handle.There is a stanhope in the top of the handle with views of Hastings.I am Not an expert so please view the photos and judge for yourself.It was recently found in a local estate. I don't know much about it.It appears to be quite old.The bell stands approx. 4 1/2 " tall. It is approx. 2 3/4" in diameter at the bottom.It appears to be in decent condition.There is a chip in the wood where the handle meets the bell.Some signs of general wear and tear.The handle is crooked.Untouched, as found in the estate.
