This medium hardcover book (5 ¾ x 9 ¼ inches, 944 pages) was published by the Washington: Government Printing Office, dated 1949. The book is bound in tan cloth with a green leaf pattern on it and green titles on the spine. There are many b & w and some color photographs and tables throughout the book. Condition: This book is in good condition. The covers of the book are darkened from age and there are some stains. There is also some edge wear particularly at the top and bottom of the spines. Additionally, the corners are bumped. Inside, the book is unmarked and the interior pages are clean and bright, from cover to cover. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound.
