He is remembered for his invented character of Jorrocks, a vulgar but good-natured sporting cockney grocer. 1. Mr. Sponge's Sporting Tour - published by Bradbury, Agnew & Co. without a publication year. Illustrations in color by John Leech. The hardcover has some edge and corner wear. The cloth over the spine is a little faded and is frayed at the top. The pages are clean, a little tan, 450 pages long and the binding is loose. 2.
