Description: The works of William Shakespeare edited by Howard Staunton with copious notes, glossary, life, etc. In six volumes. This is a complete six volumes set beautifully bound with green cloth boards. Front boards embossed with a glit emblem and black ink boarders. Gilded lettering on the spines with a portrait of Shakespeare in blink ink + decorative patterning. Woodcut illustrations. Spines are edge worn and corners are bumped. Exposed mull in two volumes. Brown end papers MAY indicate a regluing of the boards but unsure. Liquid damage near the top edge of a few pages throughout the set, though it does not appear to affect any of the text. All boards are firmly attached and the text is tight and firm. Requires extra postage due to the weight of the set. Ships via media mail. Feel free to inquire with any questions or further photos.
