Book Condition: About Very Good-/Very Good, No Jacket. Denslow, W.W. (illustrator). 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Printers imprint in capital letters at the foot of the page all in black type. Cover shortened to The Wizard of Oz, with orange to scarecrow's eye, stalks, wizard, oz, and to the lion's eye's and whiskers to the spine. Interior is pretty clean with a few previous owner's signatures to the front/rear paste down and to the ffep. Boards are in good condition, the corner's are mildly bumped rubbed but still retaining a lot of sharpness (see pics). Edges are slightly age toned and hinges are in pretty good shape with the spine reasonably tight and all pages fanning easily. Flowers on the paste down and end pages, a Very Good and affordable cearly copy of a very rare book.
