Description: 1913 copyright date with no indication of the printing number. Originally published by Harper & Brothers this is a reprint version meant for general consumption, but unlike other copies retains it's scarce DJ illustrated by J. N. Marchand. G/G. General soiling to extremities including the DJ and boards. The DJ has been nicely preserved in a mylar jacket though, contains numerous rips and tears throughout including a decent chunk missing at the bottom of the spine but is overall complete and intact. An inscription in pen to the FFEP and various seller notation in pencil. A brownish patch on the FFEP likely from a removed stamp or newspaper clipping. Possible light soiling to a few pages but nothing extensive. No other apparent internal markings. A small stamp placed on the inside cover of the back board. Lightly bumped corners. Edge worn jacket. Please see photos. Ships via media mail.
