THE DOORS ~ STRANGE DAYS ~ MONO

Description: THE DOORS ~ STRANGE DAYS ~ ELEKTRA # EKL - 4014, MONO, from 1967. (It has the stereo number EKS - 74014 on the spine but MONO #'s both front/back covers and labels) 1st press with brown labels. COVER: Has ring wear you can see from pics on both sides. Shelf wear on bottom seam, light shelf dings on top seam and some wear at the top 2" and bottom 2" of the spine. Shows handling creases on each front bottom corner. A punch hole in the top left corner. On back, at top right below the record number, there's a check mark that seems to have been erased. Seams are all solid, no splits and the mouth is still tight when opening it. No other cuts, tape, etc... Visually Grade VG RECORD: Has lots of shine and under normal light you'd think it was brand new. Well cared for but under bright light there's a sleeve scuff and several light needle scratches that are non feelable. Labels are clean and free of any markings. Visually Grade VG+ PLAY Grade VG++ to E See following note ---- NOTE --- I played this MONO record in it's entirety before listing and only had a few light non-distracting ticks across each entire side but not on every song. Last song, side 2, "WHEN THE MUSIC'S OVER" does have a loud tick for the 8th thru 12th revolutions and then 1 loud tick about 1/3rd the way thru the song. (I can't feel this spot, around the 6 o'clock position, but my needle sure can). This was the only time there was a distracting sound throughout playing. I always clean a record before and after I play it !! Comes with custom Lyric/Photo sleeve which has splits on all 3 sides. Will ship in plain sleeve.
