Inked name on title page of former owner - "D. Elliot McKirdy, 95th Reg't.", with ink stamp of his on front endpaper - "dieu et mon pays" (God and my Country), and "E. McK". I've found that he entered the military in 1833, was a colonel of the Welsh Regiment, died in Cannes France in 1894. Condition: See box above.
