I dont have the 'OFFER' function activated for this listing so send me a reasonable offer vie the message function.*** This is a custom rig i have been working on based on the King Hauler. It is nearly all metal and mostly LESU heavy duty metal components. The only thing Tamiya is the cab and associated parts. For this rig I was going for an old logging type Kenworth, but this is as far as I got. It is nearly ready to run as-is, but will need completion. Electronics wise, you will need a radio/receiver, battery and charger, and ESC. What is needed assembly-wise is much of the small scale hardware needs to be installed. Not gonna lie, it's a nightmare to handle those micro nuts and bolts and my sausage finger just don't have the finesse. The hardware to be installed is for the rear bumper, front wheels, and support bar tor the exhaust. That being said, NO LOCKTIGHT WAS USED, SO you RUN THE RISK OF LOSING HARDWARE/THINGS BECOMING LOOSE IF BEING RUN AS-IS. I did this so the truck could be disassembled easily for painting. The body is from the pre-painted Metalic Black Edition King Hauler. There are scuffs that are visible, but only a minor amount when mounted (see pic). A few considerations: The shift servo is located under the plate behind the exhaust. It does create a clearance issue so it was mounted low, but you can see it plain as day. I'd suggest mounting the shift servo up front, but you will have to drill holes for the mount. Also, the trans will need disassembly to flip the shift rod to the forward position. The rear fenders are a little high. There is another mounting position that it lower, but the screws holding the fenders to the posts run into the rear tries. I would suggest flipping that hardware to lower the fenders, but you may get tire rub. The fifth wheel will not allow Tamiya trails with auto trailer legs, or even the plastic block for spring assisted auto rais feature of a stock Tamiya Trailer. LESU trailers will work just fine. The correct kingpin is included. The only modifications I did to this chassis is drilling and tapping several holes for some of the installed accessories and enlarging 2 holes at the rear of the chassis for the rear bumper. The mudflaps are for the front steel bumper. The included tail lights have LEDs. Please refer to LESU's website for instructions. They're steel and plastic. You will need to drill and tap holes for installation. This truck is heavy, beefy, and sold. Please ask any questions you have so you know exactly what you're getting. Thanks for looking and check out my other items.
