Description: Original manual for Hallicrafters SX-28 receiver, date 1943, the year the direction of WWII was decided. The cover of the manual has written "MONITORING STATION". I do not know anything of the actual provenance of this book, but it may have come from the FCC monitoring station at Ferndale, WA, or perhaps the FCC at the Federal Office Building in Seattle. The audio and power areas of the manual foldout have some parts values written in ink next to their parts of the schematic. No other writing in manual. Overall condition is respectable, quite good. You will be happy with it. Yes, you can get a repro for less, but if you have a nice condition SX-28, this is the manual to have with it. Mailed USPS in plastic bag against rain or moisture, inside a stiff photo mailer envelope 12 x 10 inches.
