Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Swing Out Sister titled "Breakout b/w Dirty Money", originally released in 1986 by Mercury Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is graded as Very Good Plus because of two small 1/8" tears along the opening along with creased corners that have fine-line color loss. In the dead wax, between the labels and end of the tracks, is machine stamped "Sterling" and an upper case "S" with a smaller "R" and "C" inside its coils, followed by the matrix numbers SP-2/SP-1, indicating that this record was mastered at Sterling Sound of New York City, N.Y. before early stampers were used to make this record at Specialty Records Manufacturing Company's pressing plant, located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint Minus because of superficial sleeve marks, but still with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, smudges or scuffs. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Specialty pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
